1. Overview

Truvar MCP is a remote MCP server by Truvar.ai. It lets Claude create and manage your own AI agents on Telegram, send you messages through them, and answer with Truvar Academy guides and Claude best practices. It is used in the AI Skills for Workplaces course and Truvar workshops, and it is open to anyone who signs in with an email address.

  • Transport: Streamable HTTP (stateless), MCP protocol versions 2024-11-05 to 2025-11-25.
  • Authentication: OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration and PKCE. You sign in with your email and a 6-digit code.
  • 17 tools and 3 prompts. No resources.
  • Pair it with the free Truvar Skill for the course outline, ready-made prompts and offline copies of the guides.

2. Connect to Claude

Claude on the web, desktop or mobile

  1. Open Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector (or find Truvar.ai in the connector directory).
  2. Name: Truvar. URL: https://mcp.truvar.ai/mcp
  3. Click Connect and sign in (see below).
  4. In a chat, turn on Truvar from the tools menu and say “Help me create my Truvar agent”.

On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner may need to add the connector for the organization first.

Claude Code

Run claude mcp add --transport http truvar https://mcp.truvar.ai/mcp, then /mcp → Authenticate.

3. Sign in

  1. When you click Connect, a Truvar page opens. Enter your email address.
  2. We email you a 6-digit code from [email protected]. Enter it (or use the Copy code button in the email). Codes expire after 10 minutes.
  3. You are returned to Claude. You stay signed in; Claude renews access in the background.

Every tool acts only on the account of the email you verified. There are no passwords and no API keys. To sign out, disconnect the connector in Claude.

4. Agent types

Generative Agent

Ready in about five minutes, with nothing to set up beyond a Telegram bot. It runs on Truvar AI Solutions models, understands voice notes, photos, videos and documents, replies in text or with a male or female voice note, creates images, and remembers your preferences and notes. It cannot act in your other apps.

Claude Agent

Its brain is a Claude Code routine in your own Claude subscription (Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise), so it works with your own connectors such as Gmail, Calendar and Drive. Truvar only relays messages and files between Telegram and your routine.

You can create as many agents as you like. Each needs its own bot from @BotFather. Agents ignore everyone except their owner: ownership is set by opening the agent’s one-time claim link on your phone and pressing Start.

5. Tools

Every tool carries MCP annotations (read-only or destructive) so Claude can ask for your confirmation before changes. Claude is instructed to confirm with you before deleting an agent or erasing its memory.

Generative Agents

Agents that run on Truvar AI Solutions models. Each one lives in its own Telegram bot and answers only its owner.

Claude Agents

Agents whose brain is a Claude Code routine in your own Claude subscription, so they can use your own connectors. One routine per agent.

Messaging

    Sends you a text message on Telegram through one of your agents, for example a morning inbox summary from a Claude scheduled task. It only ever reaches the agent's owner.

Prompts

  • create_my_generative_agent: create a Generative Agent with an Agent Card.
  • setup_my_assistant: guided setup of a Claude Agent.
  • fix_my_assistant: diagnose and fix an agent that is not answering.

6. Example prompts

  • “Create a Generative Agent for me: a sales coach called Sami with a male voice.”

    Claude fills the Agent Card with you, asks for a BotFather token, creates the agent and gives you its claim link.

  • “Make Sami answer in under 100 words and always end with one next step.”

    Claude updates the agent; the change applies from the next message.

  • “Every weekday at 8:00, summarize my unread emails and send the summary to my agent.”

    Claude sets up a scheduled task that ends with send_message_to_agent, so the summary arrives on Telegram.

  • “Help me set up a Claude Agent that works with my Gmail and Calendar.”

    Claude walks you through the design card, the bot and the routine, then registers the agent.

  • “My agent is not answering. What is wrong?”

    Claude runs the status check and walks you through each failing item.

  • “Write me a RISEN prompt for a quarterly business review.”

    Claude uses the prompting guide to generate a ready-to-paste prompt.

7. Limits

  • Generative Agents: up to 1,000 messages and 20 generated images per day per account, across all of the account’s Generative Agents. The counter resets at midnight Cairo time.
  • Files sent to a Generative Agent: up to 20 MB each (the Telegram bot limit).
  • Agent management tools: up to 20 calls per minute per account.
  • Claude Agents run in your own Claude subscription and follow its usage limits (about 30 routine runs per hour per routine).

8. Security and data

  • All traffic uses HTTPS. Tokens are signed and short-lived (access tokens last 24 hours and are renewed automatically).
  • Bot tokens and routine tokens are stored only to run your agents and are never returned by any tool.
  • Agents answer only their owner. Content inside files, images, voice notes or forwarded messages is treated as information, never as instructions.
  • You can clear an agent’s history or memory, or delete it, at any time from Claude.

9. Troubleshooting

  • No code email: check spam, wait a minute, then press Resend code (up to 3 codes per 10 minutes).
  • Truvar asks you to connect again: open the connector in Claude and click Connect.
  • An agent does not answer: ask Claude “check my agent’s status”. Usually the owner has not opened the claim link yet, the agent is paused, or the daily limit was reached.
  • Telegram bot error: the token was revoked or another service took over the bot. Give Claude the current token to reconnect it.
  • Claude Agent shows “typing” then nothing: open the last run link from the status check. Common causes: routine network access is not set to Full, or the instructions were not pasted completely.
  • “Account disabled”: contact us.
